Comhrá Gaeilge (Conversation)
Improve your fluency speaking Irish in everyday situations. For those who have lost some of their Gaeilge, who need some practice, or who simply want to get more confident speaking the language.
Course calendar
Community Education courses are directed at adults of all ages living in South-West Donegal, providing educational and social opportunities for people seeking to learn a new skill or practise a craft in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
In this course you will discuss a varied range of familiar topics, but with an emphasis on expanding your vocabulary and improving your ability to communicate. Participants will take advantage of a specially-developed curriculum, with learning materials provided, which your teacher can tailor to the class’ specific needs. There will also be good craic and plenty of opportunities to talk!
This course is funded by the Béal an Phobail language planning initiative.
Schedule
Classes are held 7.00–8.30pm on Tuesday evenings starting 29 September 2026. There will be a mid-term break after Week 4, meaning there will be no class on 27 October. The final class will take place on 24 November.
