Irish Language 2 (Cúpla Focal)
For those with some experience learning the language but who wish to add to, or improve, their understanding of the basics.
Online course calendar
Build on what you know already and move beyond just the cúpla focal (few words) with this course. Practice talking about your passtimes, everyday activities, food and drink, and more. Learn how to do more with verbs and construct your own sentences. Participants will take advantage of a specially-developed curriculum, with learning materials provided, which your teacher can tailor to the class' specific needs. There will be lots of opportunities to practice what you learn in a relaxed but structured environment.
Timetable
Participants will attend either or both of our 1-day intensive courses on Saturday, February 7th and Saturday, February 21st, 2026. Each day will focus on different aspects of the language and it is not a requirement to have attended the first course if you wish to join the second day of classes. All class and event times listed on our website are local to Ireland (GMT)—please take this into account when viewing our course calendar if you live outside of Ireland.
