Each year this unique week features a specially-tailored programme of classes and events. Participants can enhance their Irish language skills each morning (Monday–Friday) with language classes catering for eight different levels. Afternoon workshops (Sunday–Friday) explore various aspects of Gaelic and European culture, covering everything from Irish music to set dancing, hill walking, tapestry weaving, history, drama, sean-nós singing, and more. A blend of concerts, céilí dancing, lectures, poetry readings, comedy, and other events means there is a wide variety of activities to take part in every evening. There is a wealth of culture and enjoyment to be had at the Oideas Gael Summer School.
