Accommodation on Toraigh
When attending a course on Toraigh (Tory Island), off the Donegal coast, the following are the options that can be reserved for you by Oideas Gael. You should indicate your accommodation preference when booking your course(s). However, you will not be charged for accommodation straight away: instead, you will pay for your accommodation during your stay, either to Oideas Gael or directly to the accommodation provider.
Notice
There is a limited number of spaces available for each of the options below. Oideas Gael will do its best to allocate your preferred accommodation type but this will not be possible in all cases. Given this, it is particularly advisable to reserve your place early.
Hotel
If you choose this option, you will stay in an en suite hotel room. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel. You will pay the hotel directly during your stay.

Bed and breakfast
If you choose this option, you will stay with a Gaeltacht family in a specially-selected house and breakfast will be provided. Lunch and dinner may also be offered by certain providers.

House share
With this option, course participants share a house with with a common kitchen area and other facilities. There is a small number of such houses on the island. Here is an indicative price for this option in 2026 (price may vary according to specific arrangements):
