Bodhrán Playing
Weekend courses offering the learner an opportunity to study the various techniques of bodhrán playing. Learn how to accompany solo and group musicians in a seisiún; how to play at the different speeds required for hornpipes, jigs, reels, mazurkas and polkas. A guaranteed craic weekend!

Our bodhrán courses offer the learner an opportunity of practising the basic strokes and giving the confidence to play solo or within the group seisiún. Learn how to accompany those playing jigs, reels, mazurkas and polkas. These courses attract a wide variety of participants from the absolute beginner to those in need of more practice.
We supply the bodhrán if you prefer not to bring your own or don’t have one (yet!).
