Where to be and when?

Week-long courses

If you have registered on a week-long course, make sure you arrive on Saturday. Registration and orientation is on Saturday from 4pm onwards with orientation lecture at 9pm.

We have class allocation at 2.30pm on Sunday, with classes and activities from 3pm until 5pm, with a tea and coffee break half way through.

Monday through Friday, classes are in two sessions: morning 10am–1pm, afternoon 3–5pm, with a tea and coffee break half way through each session. Outdoor activities also start at 10am.

Departure is on Saturday morning. There are no classes or activites that day. Those staying another week can use the day off to explore the Glen!

Different activities are organised each evening from 8.30–9.45pm. These include Céilí dancing, singing, poetry and walks; there is a final class concert on Friday night.

Weekend courses

If you have registered on a weekend course, make sure you arrive on Friday. Registration and orientation on Friday evening from 4pm onwards with orientation lecture at 9pm. We also do class allocation and placement on Friday night.

Saturday and Sunday, classes are in two sessions: morning 10am–1pm, afternoon 3–5pm, with a tea and coffee break half way through each session. Outdoor activities also start at 10am.

On Monday, classes and activities continue with a morning session 10am–1pm, with departure afterwards.
